辟支佛
These Buddhas become fully enlightened... by meditating on the principle of causality. Unlike the Perfect Buddhas, however, they do not exert themselves to teach others.
In Buddhism, Pratyeka buddhas generally mean those who live in a time when there is no Buddha but who awaken to the Truth through their own efforts.
The vehicles of Sravakas and Pratyekabuddhas are known as the Theravada or Southern Vehicle of Buddhism.
