【英汉对照佛学词典】ROBINSON,
"Buddhologist and Madhyamika specialist, educated at the University of London, and founder of the Buddhist Studies program at the University of Wisconsin. This University was the first American institution to establish an educational program leading to graduate degrees in Buddhist studies, and it was developed almost exclusively by Richard Robinson. Fluent in all the Buddhist canonical languages, Robinson was primarily interested in the work of Nagarjuna and the other Madhyamika writers ... Like Louis de La Vallee Poussin and other major scholarly figures of the twentieth century, Robinson trained a large number of scholars before his untimely death in 1970."
