【英汉对照佛学词典】

二谛

The 'twofold truth.' The absolute and conventional truths. The absolute truth 胜义谛 is the view of reality as experienced by enlightened people. Since it transcends dualistic logic, it cannot exactly be expressed in linguistic constructions. The relative truth 世俗谛 is reality as experienced by unenlightened people, and is expressed readily in dualistic linguistic constructions.
