僧祐

Sengyou (445-518); one of the earliest catalogers of the then-growing Chinese Tripitaka. His major work was entitled the Chusanzang jiji (A Compilation of Notes on the Translation of the Tripitaka; 出三藏集记). Sengyou completed his catalog shortly before his death, compiling an extensive list which relied on the (currently missing) earlier catalogs available to him at the time, along with his own research.
