Myo^shinji; the head temple of the Myo^shinji branch of Japanese Rinzai 临济宗， located in Kyoto. It was originally a villa owned by the ex-emperor Hanazono 华园， which was remodeled into a temple in 1337. Among the most famous abbots of this temple was Hakuin 白隐.
