B?oyún. (2) (372 or 376-449). A Chinese monk of the Easter Qin 东晋, originally from Liángzho^u 凉州 who was one of the major translators of his period. He went to study in India, and after returning home, translated numerous important works into Chinese, such as the Wuliangshou jing 无量寿经, Puyao jing 普耀经, Za apitanxin lun 杂阿毗昙心论, Za ahan jing 杂阿含经, Lengqie abaduoluo bao jing 楞伽阿跋多罗宝经, and S/ri^ma^la^-su^tra 胜鬘经.
