无性


(1) 'No self-nature' (nihsvabha^vatva, nihsvbha^va). (2) That which does not really exist; non-existence; lacking real substance. (3) The lack of inherent existence that could be attached to: emptiness. (4) Lacking buddha-nature. A being who cannot be enlightened no matter how much they strive. (5) *Asvabha^va, an Indian Yoga^ca^ra scholar who wrote a commentary on the Maha^ya^na-sam!gra^ha (摄大乘论无性释).
