'Undefiled seeds' or 'seeds of no-outflow.' The seeds that the wisdom of enlightenment produces are undefiled seeds. In the a^laya-vijn~a^na 阿赖耶识 there are defiled seeds， and since the undefiled seeds which must also be stored there would become defiled by contact， it is said that the undefiled seeds are "attached to" the a^laya-vijn~a^na， rather than kept within the a^laya-vijn~a^na.
