'Pervasive vision,' 'universal eyes.' (1) The compassionate eyes of Avalokite/svara that see all sentient beings. (2) The perception that all things are contained in one thing. (3) One of the twelve bodhisattvas that serves as an interlocutor in the Sutra of Perfect Enlightenment (圆觉经); the title of the third chapter of the same sutra.
