The Zheng fahua jing, which is the earliest Chinese translation of the Saddharma-pun!d!ari^ka-su^tra, known in English as the Lotus Sutra. It was translated in ten chapters and twenty-seven fascicles by Dharmaraks!a 竺法护 during the Western Jin. It traditionally has not been as popular as the translation by Kuma^raji^va 鸠摩罗什, called the Miaofa lianhua jing 妙法莲华经.
