Haeinsa. One of the major Buddhist temples in Korea， first built in 892. The site of the carving of the Koryo woodblock Tripitaka， which is still housed there. Haein-sa is still an active Son practice center in modern times， the home temple of the recently deceased Rev. Songch'ol.
