The Apidamo fayun zulun; Abhidharma-dharmaskandha pa^da /sa^stra (Treatise on Dharmas and Skandhas according to the Abhidharma Path). T 1537.26.453-513; 12 fascicles, attributed to Maha^-maudgalya^yana大目干连translated by Xuanzang 玄奘 in 659. It is the fifth work of the Sarva^stiva^da 有部 Abhidharma canon, traditionally attributed to one of Buddha's disciples--either Maudgalya^yana or S/a^riputra--but probably composed two or three centuries after the Buddha's death. It bears a resemblance to the Therava^din vibhan%ga 分别论 and agrees in part with the Sam!yukta^gama 增阿含经. There is a summary of its contents in Frauwallner, Studies in Abhidharma Literature, pp. 15-21.
