The "stream-enterer"--the first of the four levels of progress 四果 toward the attainment of arhatship 阿罗汉. One who is fully established in the course of Buddhist practice (srota-a^patti), who has severed the mistaken views of the three realms. One who has entered the stage of the path of cultivation 修道. This stage is divided up into the level of entry into the stage 预流向, and its full attainment 预流果. Transliterated as 须陀.
